Who we are
Eco-Boats is an Ecological attraction where you can rent an electric boat and drive it without a license. We are pioneers in this activity with 25 years of experience, and the only ones in renting ecological boats in Empuriabrava.
Translate to English: Our story goes back to 1997 when we started this activity with only 4 boats and a hut by the canal.
Currently, we have a fleet of 26 boats, 3 official sales points and more than 5 sales points through our collaborators, spread throughout Empuriabrava.
We also have a fast and intuitive online booking system.

During this hour, you will have the opportunity to see the canals from a unique 360o perspective, discovering a different way of visiting Empuriabrava. You can admire its spectacular views and feel like a real captain navigating through its canals.
In addition, you will be impressed by some of the most spectacular homes in Empuriabrava. This town on the Costa Brava is made up of around 14,000 houses and apartments, some of which are true architectural gems worth more than a million euros. Discover Empuriabrava
Empuriabrava is an urbanization that is part of the municipality of Castelló de Empúrie (historic town dated near the 10th century) in the Alt Empordà region.
Formed by about 24 km of navigable canals, it is considered the largest marina in Europe.
You have to know that it is impossible to visit the canals on foot. For this reason, you need a boat to be able to visit them.
In addition, Empuriabrava has a private aerodrome where many tourists take the opportunity to practice skydiving
ITS HISTORY
Empuriabrava was born as a result of the will to create a residential marina in the style of Miami.
Formerly, the extension of land where it is now was dedicated to agricultural and livestock exploitation
There were five large farmhouses called Llebrer, Modaguer, Moixó, Viejo and Torre Ribota that belonged to two large owners.
The project was promoted in 1964 by the business group Eurobrava S.A. (later Empuriabrava S.A.) and in 1967 it was approved, when its construction began.
This was an innovative and original initiative in Europe that had great success, especially among German tourists.
It should be noted that Empuriabrava was considered one of the best tourist destinations on the Costa Brava especially at the end of the nineties
